Just i simple question peeps.

When chasing out a wall to fit 1.5 twin and earth how far do you have to chase? 50/65mm? Also you cant just plaster over the cable cause thermal insulation.. whats the plastic cover called? which you place over the cable then to plaster/fill over?? and is this tacked into place with small nails?

Sorry if its a stupid question. so far all my work has been done on metre square boards lol
 
Did the OP mention chasing out to 65mm depth? That's 2.6 inches! Jesus, if you do a horizontal chase you'd be sawing the top of the house off. Daz

The new cables would hold that roof up no problem lol


I think people must get the excavation bug and seem to be prepared to destroy the house for a piece of cable
