is this ok?! Apparently it was installed by a previous owner, I've disconnected it as they don't use it anyway but seems abit strange.

Discuss Confused....bathroom socket in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
Hello, yesterday I Carried out a EICR, two DBs all installed in 2007, so pretty simple until I got to the last circuit. And It was a 16amp type B marked up as bathroom socket, thinking it was most likely the shaver points, after half hour I found a weatherproof socket under the bathroom sink, attempted to take a Zs from it and found there was no earth, after another half hour of ****ing around I found a 230v to 230v transformer?! Which fed the socket,

Section 701 gives the required information. You should know how to find this if you are carrying out EICR's
My conclusion obviously is that it's fine, its nothing I've come across that's all, and Im pretty new to test and inspecting.Don't forget to update the thread with your conclusion Tom.
Sorry is this a 240 volt or 12 volt
Because it 'electrical separation' there's no earth return path, but how would you know weather this satisfies the disconnection times, I know it dose on the supply side of the transformer but what about the secondary side..?? I've taken all my readings, zs, rcd ect from the supply side but as there's no earth by tester 'fluke' won't take it from the secondary side.
