Just to put the record straight...
I do live alone
I can afford to eat whatever I like
I like mince!
Just because i carved a single portion doesn't mean that's all I had to eat.
I like mince.
I like fish
I like pasta
I like rice
I like game/poultry
I LOVE pies!
I just happen to like mince, too...in various guises.
One of my favourite foods is smoked halibut, which is far more expensive than smoked salmon, which itself, is a breakfast dish to be served with scrambled eggs, or hollandaise, or eggs royale or eggs benedict or as bradan rost in puff pastry...and Cava - go on, start your day the right way!

Bradan rost in pastry, smoked halibut, prawns and lime and chilli mayo...

I also like mince!

Standard smoked salmon from the supermarket, in its natural setting:

Sorry, that's too mature for me, I much prefer the younger stuff - of legal age now

Cooking smoked brisket today. Hope it comes out ok, last few have been a bit dry.

Got the brisket from a local butchers, not the normal supermarket purchase. Her indoors won’t let me go there, with the crisis.

So got the local butchers to delivery instead. Apparently they are doing a roaring trade at the mo.

Big brother has access , some footage before bothering -- Webcams !

--Plenty of gossip of long ques -- restricted shop occupancy --Just ask her indoors ...
( or ring a local gossip !)

I've had about 7 pints tonight and I still don't understand that. But i don't care anyway :D
