I found a copy of the paper on the bus going home last night. Weird!
Question 16 referred to an IT system:
"State the test instrument used to measure the earth electrode resistance fo an installation protected by an RCD and forming part of a [sic] IT system"
Does anyone know if you can even use an RCD on an IT system? Did they mean "a TT" rather than "a IT" system?
I waffled on about using an insulation resistance tester to measure the high impedance path to earth.

Yes you can.....411.6.3, (v).


In an IT system, all live parts are either insulated form earth or connected to earth via a high impedance.
