Can't say how many times I've been to houses wired by that bloke, more fingers and toes than I've got. Usually cpc just gets the Russian Wrap .

That's easy, the light is missing and the wires are hanging out!
With these photos, i never know what the poster has done cos it always sounds like they literally arrived and it was like that!

When I arrive to a new build flat, I would expect maybe a faulty switch or something small to be found.
I started to disconnecting lights and pulling downlights out. What a shabby attempt at a joint honestly.

I was at the new build flats for a further 4 days fixing all downlights and replacing them with suitable connectors.

Yeah tell me about it. I had a quick ‘visual’ of the rest of the flat and it wasn’t great. Slack connections at accessories, cables falling out, blanks missing from boards. It goes on.....

Went to someone saying there was smoke coming from her shower switch. Had an ex do the work for her and couldnt understand why it was to be disconnected and if they wanted the shower working again it would need to be redone properly.
