Done an EICR this morning. Easy job as it was a 1 bed apartment and when I left everything was working. Left just after 1315hrs and then I received the below message from the landlord. As I wasn’t far away I thought I’d go back and check incase something had tripped. You can see my reply.

Strange, looks like maybe they were trying for a TT supply to garage but have failed on many points
 
Who did the EICR, Stevie Wonder? Or was it a drive by EICR, a bit like American paperboys were they throw the Cert at your door? 😂
I am presuming the parts we are looking at were hidden behind kitchen furniture and appliances.

Pic 2 was the only one that was hidden, that being the redundant original cooker switch. Now being used to supply a cooker hood, double socket and two fcu's for appliances.

Pic 1 is the cooker hood socket outlet located on top of the cupboard, easily visible if they had bothered to look.

He had fitted a new double socket.

Mcb was still the 40 amp

Stevie Wonder would have done a better job just using touch than this fella did.
