thanks
Get one from the local taxidermist - no need to feed it or take it for walks in the pi$$ing rain. It won't jump all over the furniture, stink the place out or bite anyone either. Saves a fortune in vets' bills too.
bad idea. you can't blame a stuffed dog when you fart when the priest is visiting.
I would really love a boxer. I have been known to actually stop my car, reverse and get out for a cuddle of a boxer puppy, well any puppy really. :tt1: I am ridiculous.[/QUOTE]

Is that some poor attempt to reduce the size of the kicking you are about to get for the previous comment???

Boxers are great dogs but I prefer rotties. Boxers just don't have an off switch always on, rotties have a lot of the same characteristics but are generally more subdued (lazy) in the house.
Would love a boxer but I don't have the energy for one.
My little rottie gets around 45 mins in the morning and 1 1/2 hrs in the evening. she comes to work with me unless I'm working in town.
She is a little over protective of the van so I can't leave her in there on a street, but on the rare occasions when I'm working in dodgy areas she's much better than any alarm system.
Great with other dogs and kids but not so good with people who find the inside of my van interesting
i'd be more worried if she kept bolt croppers under the bed.

Ah yes ... but can she put fires out? :devilish:
