Is it good practice with 230v downlights to connect them to pork pie jbs via a flex, or can the 1.5mm twin and earth just loop in and out ? I've always done it the first way, but I was recently questioned why.
 
I used them quick flow ones last time, and not eazy to get 3x1.5mm cables into 1, load of crap if using at full potential, the wee white ashley ones seem the job, rest too fittery,,....6 '' bit light glenspark

Well i know i said 6" but i dont get a tape out and measure it......i always make sure theres enough......
 
I haven't seen the Ashley jb's you mentioned. Will have a look out for one.

A lot easier than 2" jbs whilst on the top of a ladder. Wago's + a choc box is also as good.
