Exposed Cables

I spotted this on my travels. There are unprotected cables hanging down at either end of the array and then disappearing near the guttering. This is surely against regulations?

Options include:

A) Do nothing
B) Inform householder
C) REAL
D) MCS

In spite of it irritating me to see poor workmanship, the hassle (and possible repercussions) of doing something makes me inclined to do nothing.

Any thoughts?

The only criticism I can make is potential damage of cable when they go over the tile edge, that and the cable could flap around in the wind, over 25 years the cable could breakdown. Rough!

It's rough but it's not the end of the world either. It is nowhere near as bad some of the other installs I see.

unprofessional yes. but thats about it. don't like them hanging over the tile, but the cable will be outdoor rated..

Use it as part of your 'here's how not to install' portfolio when you visit your prospects, and if it really worries you, speak to the owner.

If you've got time to foloow it up with RECC / MCS etc then you aren't doing enough marketing.
