I’ve chased out two channels and I’ve applied bonding as a rough coat and im wondering what you all use to finish it off for a smooth joinless finish.

Would multifinish or dob and dab adhesive achieve this finish?

If you want bonding to go off quicker - add cement. If setting back boxes with it, move bloody quick.

Things are different this side of the pond on many things, I get a plasterer to fill wall chases (which will be deep enough and have 20mm round PVC conduit in the drops).

I bought a bundle of capping in 2010. I still have about 25 lengths of it left.

as everyone else has said use bonding first then two coats of easy fill, use the first coat to fill proud then the second coat to smooth off the edges, then all thats left is a light rub.

I made the mistake of ordering a bundle years ago too! Nothing wrong with it but would take quite a bit of arguing to tell people it was allowed and they still wouldn't believe you!
