Hi All,

i now have a lad that i have trained up for fitting the double pole isolators so that you can safely isolate wen doing anything on the consumer unit. he will safely remove the bullet, fit the isolator and re-seal the service head.

We are located in Swillington, leeds so i am sure we could come up with a rate if any of you were wanting them fitting
we cover, leeds Barnsley and Rotherham daily.

you can PM me or contact Danny or Neil on 0113 276 5151

thanks

would like to know how exactly you are authorised?
i hold a valid pto permit but unless working directly for either nedl/yed or energy provider then you must hold a contract with them as even with a pto you are not allowed to be carrying out this work?

if this was the case then i would assume nedl/yedl would be getting a share of the profits?

i work for one of the biggest energy companies out there "Scottish and southern energy" ???
also known as SSE

Hi mate
british gas will Fit 100A DP Iso and tails on there side as well as digi meter for £39 which is a fair price and well it was unitied utilities who do this work on behalf of BG and they didnt have no suit or any protective equipment he may have had a rubber mat to sit on as it was in a confined space under the stairs and a head torch lol

yes i understand that but does that give you the authority to sub work out? now i may be wrong but i wouldnt of thought sse would allow this unless they are recieving the payment for the works.
(not causing a storm just enquiring as to this being allowed)

as i stated earlier if your fitting for sse then thats ok but to be doing your own fits surely or at least in my experience is not allowed, can you clarify as if this is the case then most energy providers must now be allowing third party contractors to pull service fuse which enables all sparks to sit the training and carry out the works as they see fit?

I think this is borderline advertising? Other users have been banned and this bloke has asked for a sticky! Why is he more important than other users?

Authorised between the hours of 9 and 5 lol

Out of this cash in hand doing it on the side.

Hence my earlier posts, i'll stick to picking a REC2 up for a tenner and running the risk of the very rare seal inspector coming round HAHA!!!

advertising or not i think as per previous thread, someone might end up out of pocket or worse, its not the forums fault, then again how much regulation do we put here where you need liability insurance just to make a post...
