Has anyone used the brand Fusebox before, how do people rate it as I’m just looking at there main switch spd board with RCBOs

We always use Hager! But just shopping around...

I have heard many good reviews on the Fusebox but from what I have come across if you are already on Hager regularly then the quality is a good reason to stay with them.. If you haven’t tried a Fusebox though, might be worth to try one yourself, see what you think?

What about the build quality though George.

I've not fitted one, I've seen one though my local CEF have started sticking them.
They looks quite well thought out, knockouts are positioned well and the layout is pretty well thought out..
They do look a little tinny in my opinion, the metal is pressed at the sides, of the CU I dont think it would really put me off... I get a decent price on Lewden A type RCBOs so I'll probably continue using them.

A bit off subject, but does anyone have any experience with m2 boards? I've been offered boards with spds and compact rcbos at a decent price, but I've never fitted any so if anyone has any experience with them Id be grateful.

Even after all these years I can't make my boards look that neat - hats off to you
I'm with you there. I can sometimes get them looking pretty neat, but not like that, especially an RCBO board. Very impressive!

Those cutters, pliers and the driver in the pic were almost new then but not quite so pretty now. And don't you find that where ever you place your tools where other 'trades' are about they seem to act as a magnet for them to drill, saw, plane, sand, paint you name it right by them.

My latest Fusebox consumer delivery (arrived today) is now using single module width SPDs. All the previous units required two module widths for the SPD. This wins back the way previously lost to an MCB, when Fusebox decided it wasn't OK to just connect the SPD across the incoming supply/
