Think the problem is some peoples tongues are bigger than their cheeks.I think some of it is tongue in cheek but some of it reflects on the people who posted it which is their problem to be frank.
yes, thats me, female electrician, qualified C&G2365 Level 3 looking forward to 2394/5, MCAS , upper levels too and a great site experience, no intention to stult in a chair as designerDo we have any female electricians on the boards?
and a fellow scouser also.! good for you.gal.I may have just been lucky, but so far (at work) have only come across neutral or positive attitudes towards women in this industry, after initial bouts of surprise, occasional genuine shock and a lot of probing of my decision to become an electrician I always get a "good for you" type response, with the odd bit of banter!
I'm into my 6th year of trading now. Super busy, sometimes I pull my hair out from 12-14 hour days, 6 days a week but wouldn't say I can't cope. Unless getting behind on invoicing countsi have nothing against women in the trade, per se, but from my personal experience, i've never seen one that can cope with it. i'm sure there's female sparks out there that can. it's just that the only ones i've met are too far up their own feminist arses. ( no disrespect to any competent female sparks/engineers/train drivers/lineswomen/etc.).
