Help on an exam question

Question
If a current of 200mA flows into a capacitor for 40ms how much charge will develop in the capacitor?

please help with the answer but i need to know how it's worked out

Hi

I must be entering it in to the calc wrong as i'm not getting it near the 8 microfarad and thats the answer given on the sample test paper.

Can you advise

Enter into calculator like this:

1 ÷ ((1 ÷ 19) + (1 ÷ 24) + (1 ÷ 32))

You should get 7.965 (8 rounded up)

Or if you have a (x-1) button on your calculator then
19(x-1) + 24 (x-1) + 32(x-1) = ans (x-1)

a lot quicker if your calculator has the right function:)

V = √(P x R) :D
