help with kitchen (why did i say yes ?)

hello im new on here , i have allways worked commercial/industrial a family member has just had a kitchen extension done and has asked me to wire it i have virtually no domestic experiance but i said i would help . this is what i plan to do

-pull in new ring main for worktop sockets with switched fcu at worktop height to flex outlet plates for dishwasher,washing machine,dryer. all appliances are itegrated
-two seperate 4mm to cooker switches for induction hob and integrated oven
-20a dedicated radial for fridge

how does that sound
any advice would be appreciated tar

Have to ask, .....Are you with Part P provider?? As the work you are doing for this family member is Notifiable to the LABC!!

Bloody ridiculous i know, when you are a fully trained and qualified electrician and probably far more experienced in the industry than any of these electrical trainee boy's...lol!!!

I do a lot of kitchens, in my experience the hobs usually need a 6mm and a single oven a 2.5 radial. Never come across a single oven needing more than a 16 amp supply. Also I dont bother with spurs above the worktop, I just stick sockets in the back of accessible cupboards near the appliance and cut a 60mm to bring the plug through. Some people will say this is naughty but I've never been one to care. It looks better and is less work.

I thought that INTEGRAL appliances HAD to be externally switched ( grid switches ) for 17Th Ed. But that free standing appliances could be on a plug/ Fused Spur outlet? I have just spoken to TWO other sparkes and the each say different? **Maybe this should be a new thread** ??
