yep
i will see if it trips the rcd on the xtension lead#if it does then t is down to them to get fridge frixed
big posh house but htey are skint lol
i wish i had a five bed detached house with double garage and a big bloody fridge !

Funny how they've allways got money for Holidays etc but when it comes to paying Tradesmen they're skint lol.

Just out of interest (and for future reference) how would you explain this to the customer

Would you get all technical on their --- and bore them to death of how RCDs work, or just blame it on the fridge and point them to whitegoods

Either way you're on a kicking imo

i'm with you mate, your damned either way. From what Morph has said it's going to be his fault no matter what in the eyes of the customer & no amount of explaining is going to cure that, the only thing he can do is try to prove it beyond doubt. Thinking about that: Morph if as you say it's happening regularly just unplug the Fridge & see what happens, as long as it's not opened it will keep it's temp for up to 8 hours.

was there for 7 hours ( mostly it was of it due to working eTC) and it was fine then three hours later of it went . i am sure its the fridge

.....

You don't say what make the fridge is. I've had a few problems with some Samsung fridges that took a while to identify the faults. The auto defrost element is usually the problem if it trips every 24 hours or so

If it is a Samsung also check the ice maker if it has one this can cause problems when it turns the ice out, another one is to check the temperature sensor in the back of the freezer

not a samsung
they plugged it in to a different rcd fed circuit last night
daughter got up early and some electric was out so she reset the rcd but cant remember which one ha ha
