now, now. just because you have not got over that misunderstanding, when the doctor told you to ----- ( the patient's) boil.

[ElectriciansForums.net] ice bucket challenge

No Tel, it involves you tipping a bucket of ice and water over your head.
Its suposed to be in the name of chairty of some kind but I dont see how it helps anyone.

It helps because when you get nominated you then do the challenge, make a donation and nominate other people to do it (in turn causing other people to 'have to' make a donation and nominate others, causing a snowball effect of donations). Can be to any charity not only macmillans

Think about it, what sticks i your mind more, a soppy advert on tv about some poor sod who has to walk 200 miles a day for a cup of water or pouring a bucket of ice water over your head or in fact watchig others do it? Carry on I say it hasn't harmed anyone (yet) and it's for a good cause crack on!!

I have not seen any mention of charity in any of the videos I have seen though.
Your right it has snowballed but i think its lost its purpose and become a viral thing to do.

Like planking or something....

I thought I was a miserable grumpy git but it seems I am a joyous ray of light .Come on if 100000 did it and charities got ÂŁ40 does it matter it's still ÂŁ40 more than they would have got and if you watch the compilation of people doing it some do make you smile

It's meant to be for Alzheimers and George Bush has done it now and nominated Bill Clinton haha
I thought it was for Cancer, But proves my point nobody actually knows why they are doing it LOL

Dont get me wrong, I believe in charities and I have given small amounts on a regular basis to various charities but some things are just pointless.
