Good evening gentlemen i been asked to put switched fused spur in the airing cupboard for a shower pump the customer says the plumber says just tag it on to the immersion ! What's everybody's take on this ?

Not sure I'd want to do it for a new circuit Haj, just curious about all the ones I've seen like it. I couldn't understand what it was in violation of.So it would seem to be acceptable to use the immersion for a spur if no easy route for a spur from the ring ?
The shower pump can be fused down to 3 amps from the lighting ring with an FCU. It's usually easy to come through the top of the airing cupboard to the lighting loop.
Alternatively I've found that there's sometimes an old shower cable from the CU in the bathroom. Again fused down to 3amps with an FCU to the flex from the pump.
