innacessible joints

if a joint is to be made under a floor wich is going to be deemed innaccessible can through crimping with the approriate tool in a cable clamped and mounted chocbox be the method of the join with normal solid core pvc/pvc twin and earth i have heard this is not acceptable any ideas:confused:

All joints must be accessible for inspection
 
crimp then heat shrink or

ashley do a decent maintenace free 32 amp (rectangular box)

not chock blok n tape!

have to try them. funny how screw terminal junction boxes have been in use for over 100 years and now they are banned ( unless screwed to the surface of the client's expensive decor )
 
electricalserv - whats the reason your doubtful of these? have you ever had a problem which has been caused by this?

im not nocking you just wondered why your not keen

Never had a problem with them but many a time found faults at joints i.e loose connection at inaccessible joint boxes(more trouble than its worth. I suppose wago's sort this out.
 
wagos definitely do. better than crimps. you'd break the cable before a wago will let go ( bit like an ex-wife ). after all, through crimps were intended for stranded cable
