Yeah like those, got a set of the socket a see versions. Saves having to take apart those pesky antique fittings

Thats because he's from Yorkshire and its probably costs to be a sponser.

If they became sponsers (and reduced P&P charges:mad:) i'd probably buy from them.

You'll be pleased to know we have sponsored the forum! We're always interested to hear your opinions, the other day I noticed that our NICEIC publications were too expensive on a thread so I dropped the prices :) David.... I'll look into carriage costs for you. Keep your eyes peeled, we will be having a special discount code especially for all forum members announced very soon!

No probs test-meter.

I'm only joking with you, but its good to see you didn't take my banter personal unlike some others

Look forward to a discount code

These two are on my christmas list. I don't think santa's going to be that generous though!

The clampmeter records your readings taken and using bluetooth technology transmits them straight onto your corresponding thermogram. Fantastic.!!!

For those in industrial i find my fav product is a drill bit with tap all in one, it drills your hole then half way up the shaft is the tap, its saves loads of time having to tap with tap and wrench afterwards, had my bits over a year and still going strong as long as they are lubed while drilling it stays sharp.

I can recommend the long flexible wood bits I have 2 6ft long for stud walls. Been using them for years bought them from IFSEC in the mid nineties

do they make drill bits with a pilot attached? ie to drill a 12mm hole in strut, panels ect ect, i usually pilot with a 6.8, but i would like to have a bit that did it all in one!

where can you get the drill bit/tap from?

Rs sell them the set i use is stock no' 373-853 but set you back £125 + vat but you can get them indivually or the do cheaper sets for about £40 but you get what you pay for, i recommend cutting oil or paste it keeps them sharp and trust me it hurts when you break one as an M4 is £13 + vat and an M12 is £32 +vat to replace.
They go under the title 'combined drill/tap set or drill/tap combinations but dont get confused with a set of drills and seperate taps in one set, and although they hurt the pocket its saved me loads of time on jobs and made my money back easily.
