Hi All,
FYI. Since the patent elapsed on the Fein Multimaster you can now see versions of this handy tool now sold by other manufacturers albeit some of a lesser quality, e.g. B & Q did one for ÂŁ30. Bosch did the 'Green' 240v version a couple of years back and also a 10.8v battery version in their professional 'Blue' range. Well now they have just released a 240v version in the 'Blue' range it's the GOP 250 the 250 equates to the wattage of the motor. The 'Green' one is 180W.

Hi Amp David,
I did put that info at the end of my post. I'm using the Green version at the moment and have to say that for 2 1/2 years it has been OK and it's used most weeks, although not every day !. can struggle on older thicker floorboards so the 250W one may as you say be OK .

Cheers,
Lofty.

Hi All,
Anyone out there got one of these or used one.? If so any good ? it's a small (76mm blade) circular saw possibly easier to use than a full blown c/saw.

They are actually pretty good. I bought one a while ago as its pretty small and takes up a lot less room than my big saw. It works really well on all types of flooring and the only problem I have with it is that the blade depth doesn't always go all the way on thick floor boards, it sometimes is couple of mm shy but one tug with the crow bar pops the boards up. Its great for cutting the tongues on flooring as well because the blade is only a few mm thick. The guiding laser and led are handy too! Definitely worth the ÂŁ80 (now ÂŁ70 though until xmas).

Hi,
What about getting spare blades for these. I've heard that it can be nigh on impossible as Argos don't stock them ?.
Cheers,
Lofty

Something I couldn't go without these days, are my Fish.... Superfisher - The superior cable fishing tool

These are by far the best Fishing rods I have ever used.... I have about 10 of these babys....

When rewiring a home... I lift a floor board the whole length of upstairs & strip out all the downstairs light fittings. I then send my rods in each light position over the lifted board.... These rods are so workable they're amazing...
they easily find (hard to find) routes when fishing in blind spot areas... eg. fishing past multiple bulky cross members under the floor... with a little twisting & stabbing of the rod, you can get to places & find routes other rods cant find... Expert fishermen will know how to use one of these easy!... They're simple but amazing & it stops me chopping up trunking lid all the time...
Also.. when I drill behind a skirting board to under the floorboards... I can put a wee bend in the end of my rod & send it down the hole...it will kick off at the angle of the bend under the boards & travel along the joists to the floor board I have taken up... I simply tape the cables to the rod & pull to position...
Very strong & durable... & always keep a good shape if taken care of... I keep mine in my tube on the roof....

I know this is my 1st post... but i promise I dont work for these guys lol... i just like the look of the title of this thread :O)
I just lurve my fish... :O) saved me hours n hours n hours....

Re: Innovating Tools & Products - superfisher

Hi Coops
I got the superfishers earlier..and whilst at first wasn't sure how good they would be, since using them, I can agree with you totally...they are fantastic! Really help and cut down the time it takes to do the work.
Also I like that they are not metallic...so don't short lights out like others I've tried in past.
Thanks...I can highly recommend them. Superfisher - The superior cable fishing tool
