Thanks Des. It's an ex BT van so came with the racking already installed. Got fed up not finding anything in my previous Astra van.

Thanks Mogga, i might get some more pics later if i get time as i need to do a list of tools and stuff for insurance purposes. The Shelf really does make a difference, saves bending over the whole time crawling into the back of a van etc, and also, when the tool bags are out and 'on-site' etc, it gives me a little work table subject to weather to prepare/count bits and pieces prior to going into a job. :)

Because 4 days of snow makes van like this:

Honest and funny pictures brs73 and a12spm
Its a relief to see I'm not the only one who throws the gear around

In the van beauty competition,it would have to be first prize to brs73
a12spm spoiled his chances with that dreadful clean up and organising of a once proudly owned mess :)

I used to have a trafic...great van. does anyone else fit inverters to charge their drills etc in their van?I found it a godsend...used to run a flex to the alarm panels for programming systems before the power was on.

I was planning on putting an inverter in mine very shortly to do exactly the same thing. Great idea about running a bit of flex to program things whilst powered down.

Looks like some kind of temporary supply to me.

As Ad says a temp board, or my money may be on a proving rig for doing self calibration of your instruments, with the two pieces of 10mm and 16mm for resistance and the RCD for a reference unit or it just doubles up as both.

you will find this is a temp cu for power while doing rewires ect for using chargers ect ??

That's exactly what it is...Plug it into the meter and away you go. Used mainly for boiling the kettle though!!!

The two short lengths (was three) of CPC at the bottom are / were 6mm 10mm and 16mm. If ever I come across an earth and not sure what size it is, I measure it against them. Sometimes a bonding / earthing cable on it's own can be difficult to identify if you don't have anything to reference it with.

Hi, if anyone suspends a ladder inside the van from the roof I'd be really grateful for a few close ups of the bracket arrangement, in particular how it's attached to the roof frame. Might save a bit of time thinking about it. Thanks loads, SW.
