Think you need a shotgun mate.

Tell the hotel keeper it's blown up or summit. You have tried as much as everyone else if not more.

Cheers fella, it really is a poor poor system, and at times today I could of swore, the chamber guards don't retain correctly, the chambers don't lock into the back plates very well, and the more I remove them to find the fault ...the more they deteriorate , real pile of crap.
All LED flash at 20 sec apart from the EOL which flashes at 5 sec intervals, but that's meant to happen

Indeed they are. A decent ROOS system in fact. (Rip Out On Sight).

Have a very interesting quote/site visit to deal with. Currently, six story office building in the guts of the West End is protected (!) by an 8 zone twinflex which has the dizzy levels of precisely two detectors and one MCP on each floor..... each floor is approximately 1500 sq ft!

So. Our customer, decent guys we've done a lot for, says "come and have a look - we're on the 4th floor, need an L2, and interconnect to the house system"......

Hmm. Well, good news is that everyone will know if the fourth floor catches fire. That's great so long as there's no fire in the basement, ground, first, second or third floors.....

We're now quoting addressable throughout with phased evac. Quickly.

And this time, we'll provide them a system that actually does ground the lift in alarm too. Last lot didn't think that was necessary either.....
