I remember seeing fighting between Palestine and Israel all over the news, month after month, when I was a kid. I eventually asked my dad "what's going on over there, why are they always fighting and killing ?" My dad answered "They have been knocking sh*t out of each other for decades son, and it's not gonna change in your lifetime."

You ask me who is wrong in this conflict ? It's the man that takes a life because an interpretation of a phrase in a book or a holy man, or a politician told him so.

That's what is happening right now. In historical reality these two sides have been in conflict for nearly a century with blame on both sides. It's just more war and more death. Who struck the first blow ? who is right and wrong after generations of killing ?

I certainly don't feel it is my place to be judging who is the ******* of the month.

Sorry no, I'm not getting drawn into that.
Compare me to Hitler if you like, but I won't take sides in a years old conflict when horrific things have been done on both sides generation after generation, just because the media and popular opinion says I should. I have far more sense and respect for myself, and the people involved, than that.

Your opinions will depend on your knowledge of the full history here, in a nutshell after the atrocities against the Jews in World War 2 when Germany was defeated we 'England' and a few other countries decided to relocate the Jews to somewhere safer IE .... where all the crap is happening now, we picked a country that was friendly at the time to Jewish people but crucially never asked their permission so in essence we gave them land we didnt own and had no right to.... several decades later we are now where we are...

So yes agree Israel is at fault and forget how they ended up where they are but honestly go back in time and this is the same to some extent for all countries.

Hamas would be doing the same amount of damage if it wasn't for Israel's Iron Curtain stopping 95% of the missiles so a thought to ponder there.. if you were been attacked would you just ignore it because you're defenses were good.

Israel have offered an kept to cease fire agreements where as Hamas has breached them all.

Israel even leaflet and warn all areas before bombing commences so to get civilians out of the way and any building they suspect they do what is called a roof knock where a air explosive charge goes of on the roof several minutes before the main missile strikes to let civilians get out.

Hamas are acting like terrorists and using human shields and firing from storing weapons as well as firing from schools hospitals etc etc trying to create a human shield when that didn't work they moved to firing close or next to UN buildings.

Evidence is also mounting that some the UN building were hit by errant Hamas missiles and not from Israel... Hamas has seen the condemnation of the world putting pressure on Israel and it wouldn't surprise me if they are not murdering their own then blaming the other side (typical terrorist trick) to strengthen the pressure on Israel.

Lastly the biggest issue here is the media and politics we as a country are the root cause of this and thus biased so most of the reporting is biased and brainwashing joe public.. well it was until social media took over and pushed the press into a corner to show how Israel was behaving.


Yes Israel is too heavy handed and innocents are been killed far too often but we would all be hypocrites to point this out after Afghanistan, Libya to name a few so heed caution on tackling my views unless you know the History of this or is your opinions based on what the media is drip feeding you ...

Hamas are just as much to blame for the atrocities happening 'today' as Israel is and while they play a game of war many innocents are losing their lives, both are guilty of many war crimes so next time you read a biased news report no matter how heart wrenching it is you can look back into history and think its our own very actions of giving them someone elses country that we had no right to give in the first place that has created this whole mess!!!

Historically the Jews have persecuted the original inhabitants of the country they were illegally given to an extent they dominate it and are doing everything to land grab regardless of the lives that are lost and disrupted.

What we are left with now is a situation where if you can forget the history for a moment is 2 countries fighting and neither willing to back down, both parties guilty of war crimes.... we say Hamas are the terrorists here with the way they run and their tactics but also Israel are guitly of creating the situation that led to the formation of Hamas ... Religion and War are intertwined always and ultimately this means you never get a peaceful outcome as history has proven time and time again..

So my view is Israel needs to be stopped, Hamas although called a terrorist group are just locals getting together and fighting for their diminishing rights but using some very questionable tactics to achieve this and Oh year America have some big questions to answer as they keep Israel armed to the teeth for political gain.

Personally i think, aside from the rights and wrongs of setting up the state of Israel in the first place (perhaps it woud have been better to say that the USA is their promised land), that Zionism is the main problem and its constant push for more territory via the illegal settlements gradually stealing more and more of the Palestinian's land and cutting communities off from their neighbours. Not all Israelis support the Likud party stance.
