hi all
does anybody know where to get good label making machines off the shelf
i need one for wednesday, i probably want to spent around 60 quid????

Staples have a good collection, they do a good 'brother' industrial machine for about £55 last time I looked.

I bought one from whsmith a few years ago that is still going strong, about £20 if I remember right.

What ever you buy make sure the tapes a readily available and dont cost an an a leg

I use a dymo, cost about £20 from WHSmiths and the refills come to about a fiver each

Had a Dymo, but if you use the tape to 'flag' cables the adhesive-to-adhesive doesn't hold, and peels after a very short time.

Use a Brother now (sold and marked as their 'garden' labeller, and being sold off for £19 at the time) and it is great. Tapes on Ebay are very cheap too. Their sticking power and durability is first rate.
