When you say free, it would have been paid for by the original Builder / Developer.
Utilities have always been expensive.

I was quoted around £3000 for a gas supply run approx 100mtrs from the nearest main main, in 1978, way before privatisation, so nothing to do with shareholders and profit.
I'd only paid £11000 for the house.

The never mentioned nothing in the sales blab.

Cost me £1200 10 years ago for a 4 mtr run under my drive!....and I had to fit the meter cupboard first

Promises get broken by all parties.

You also have to take anything in the papers with a hefty pinch of salt.

Had to laugh at some of the daft suggestions that supporters were sharing on Facebook. Such as:
“To ensure conservative don’t win, put an X in labour AND snp”
Or
“Take your own black biro with you to mark the paper, as the (insert party name here) supporting official will rub out your pencil X”

Both of these will void your paper.

I know we vote for an MP, but I’ve always had in the back of my mind the party leader.

This time around is a first for me; always voted Tory, but don’t think much of Boris. But then I’d rather boil my head in lard, than vote for a Jeremy or some Lib Dem bod.

No, this was true, and the hospital apologized. The fake news was the lies surrounding it and the discrediting of it by the Tory supporters.

True, not voted yet. The polling booth is in my village club and I generally vote at a minute to 10. Never completely sure in the morning who I voted for.

Well, the Labour Manifesto was bold and different and certainly overly socialist in nature.

Looks like, as a country, we are not ready to give up even more of our hard earned for re-distribution by the state.

Glad Lib dems are formally quiet now, they really did take the *iss out of the 2016 referendum.

The Tories paid Google for an ad that linked to the false manifesto website, they changed their Twitter name on the night of the leaders debate to 'Fact check UK' to con people into thinking that it was an independent fact checking service. Analysis from First Draft found that in the first week of December 88% of the Tory ads on Facebook were either misleading or lying, Labour 0%.

But as I say, you will completely fail to take any of this on board or you'll dismiss it by telling yourself they're all the same as each other.

I think it is you eyes that deceive and your mind that sees the implied and not what it actually reads. The only issue with it is the pound sign not being the Euro sign.

If I go into my local supermarket and go for the two for three, I know they are still making profit. But the sales talk confuse essentially my brain, or does it. It was a red bus with some sign writing on it, make of it what you will. Was there anything other statements made at the time?
