I thought that this case just paved the way for a judicial review!

Interesting indeed.

I thought that if the DECC were given grounds for appeal (however unlikely based on the initial verdict), that this would be heard the same day - i.e tomorrow afternoon. Surely if this is correct, we would hear an announcement tomorrow afternoon/evening???:rolleyes4: :rolleyes4:

On the other hand, although I want the 43.3p tariff back in, even for just a short while, so I can deal with the backlog of customers who I had to let down pre-Dec 12th, I'm extremely concerned about the 9p rate referred to in the article!! :nonod:

Isn't this fun? The more I read from DECC to more I'm convinced there's more and harder cuts to come. Why mention a 9p rate if it wasn't in their minds?

It like "I have a mate who's got this problem" talk. When you mean I have the problem.

The best out come (Which isn't going to happen) is from a date this is the rate. You will need this to have that. End of. Like it or lump it but that's it. Instead we have if, buts and may be's. Not much good for anyone. I just hope the honor the 21p till April as they have promised as we have systems booked and gear on the way.

With all the response to this thread I think there is probably enough people to form our own government now!

The hearing starts at 09:30am, so depends how long it takes. Possibly no more than an hour.

If DECC's application for permission to appeal is granted, then the appeal itself will be heard straight afterwards.

Some lord or other talking about the governments green agenda at the house of lords on BBC parliament now, its all rather bland, but maybe theres a nuget of new infomation???

Still no decision from the court as to whether they are going to allow the DECC to appeal- However- looks likely they will be granted it
