Littlespark’s collection

The WAGO is made from Lego, but not an official Lego set. Not designed or sold by Lego.

The pink crocs that Lou posted is completely made up by AI.

Getting back to recent acquisitions.

Set 42179

I gave my wife a list of 6 or 7 that she could get with my birthday money, as she was up in Edinburgh at the weekend. She brought this back.

Ok… it’s very technical… you turn the handle, the sun rotates at a different speed to the arm, holding the earth and moon…. Which also spin at different rates to each other.

The gold pointers give moon phases and months.

Got a couple of niggles about the speeds and the obvious relative sizes of each element… but a nice little toy all the same.

The box is labelled as Technic, but with the sub theme of “space”… with this sub theme being used across many ranges, including technic, city, friends…
Must be 40 years since the initial Space theme came out.

Something seasonal to get back into posting into this thread….

Set 10293 “Santa’s Visit”

This now sits on the table under our Xmas tree… and I have a few Santa mini figures hanging from the tree.

3 part angled base, with “snow” covered roofs and ground.

IMG_6441.jpeg

A display model really…. Fragile (which I know by dropping it trying to get the roof on)

IMG_6446.jpeg

The tree has a light brick inside that shines through clear parts when pushed down…

Reverse view showing a long dining table, kids bedroom, kitchen and fireplace.

3 Xmas stockings hanging over the fire

And Santa…. Who with a slight push can slide down the chimney and into the room.

So it’s only taken me 19 years, buying them the girly Lego Friends sets… trying to get them interested in my older sets… and even going for the “Disney” type …. But middle daughter on a shopping trip to Edinburgh bought herself some Lego.

She’s wanting to buy the other “botanicals” sets… but started with these.

These plants are clever in the way they use specific parts, in different colours to normal.

Seashells in red for petals. Minifigure hats in dark green and even minifig firefighter helmets in light green.

I down loaded the instruction for a F1car and attempted to make it from a Porsche set and crain set I had . Still missing various pieces but used my imagination to create the below .still fun making it

Ive got a spare of the big blue/orange F1 car there.... and am collecting the 10 "speed champions" F1 cars. 7/10 so far

Daughter with the Lego plant pots has also been helping me offload some of my collection on Vinted. Namely the collectible mini figures where I have a number of duplicates, triplicates and quadliputs (?)
Gets a better price on vinted than eBay.

Has got £5, £6 per figure, and some over a tenner for something rare that was £3.50 or less at the time.

She deleted and relisted everything at the weekend, all in one lot and marked it as £200 as a placeholder before uploaded each one singularly again…. And someone bought it at that! £200 for 30 figures. not bad.

Cleaning out my garage, I found another box of spares. She listed them, and got a message from the guy that just spent 200 quid, which simply said….
“Damn you”

Seems he’s doing the same as me…. Trying to build up the entire collection from series 1.
