just wondering your thoughts

second hand Megger 1552 v new Metrel Mi3100

any thoughts appreciated,

cheers in advance.

Megger every time mate.... Metrels have far too much fiddly farty stuff on em. Meggers are easy to use, none of the crappy connections with cables, and lots less useless info on screen.

Agreed.

Don't know why but Metrels always remind me of a cheap toddlers V-Tech computer game :D

never used a metrel but looking at it price, new, spec etc I couldn't help think Amstrad v Sony in the 80's.

I'm sure they are a very useful piece of kit regardless. Am I worthy of saying the above:rolleyes:lol

Here it is

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSg6Z3FhWyw]YouTube - Megger MFT1553 gets run over[/ame]

I would never do that to a £6-700 piece of equipment :eek:

At least he didn't break the most important thing.....HIS FLASK :D

Think there is a vid on you tube of someone reversing over their 1552 and it still working afterwards:eek:

Looked to set up would like to see the wheel go over the middle of it not just a corner where there is a lot of strength

You will have to excuse me I'm off to get my V Tech computer out:D it needs all the useful stuff downloading
