Moving CU

Got to replace a CU and move it off the ground in a shop, would it be acceptable to mount the CU on the wall in the void between the ceiling and suspended ceiling
The only problem I can see are the meter tail being borderline 3 metres.

Yes, presently mounted at floor level. Shelves go up to suspended ceiling and want to loose CU in the void above suspended ceiling.

Hum, me think you need to say no to the client. Sure move it off the ground, but not to above the false ceiling. Tell them to loose a couple of shelves.

Anyway.... Somehow, needing to get a ladder to access CU doesn't strike me as being particulary accessible.

Mount at height where someone can reach quickly in case of need.

Thanks chaps, might be a case of cutting a inspection hatch in the back of a shelving unit as CU is not easily accessible where it's presently situated
