Got to replace a CU and move it off the ground in a shop, would it be acceptable to mount the CU on the wall in the void between the ceiling and suspended ceiling
The only problem I can see are the meter tail being borderline 3 metres.

How do you do that thing of copying section of OP in a nice quote box??

Anyway.... Somehow, needing to get a ladder to access CU doesn't strike me as being particulary accessible.

Mount at height where someone can reach quickly in case of need.
