OMG !!!! I saw the best one yet yesterday - domestic smoke detector circuit fed off a lighting circuit (nothing strange there), only the feed had been taken off the light nearby which was switch fed so the smokes (of which there was another interlinked from this one) only worked when the lights were on. Poor lady didn't have a clue!!!

Any other similar stories to brighten up my sunday morning?

Both supplying a 4way wylex 3036 db in flat . Many many other issues there to as those 32a trips are in a cellar of a shop next door no access from flat of course , so if was to trip , I'm affraid no leccy for flat dweller ! After seeing install having no leccy least of there worries

NOOO!!KEEP them fuses out!!!And lock off that db.

It was a test prior to occupancy so the landlord now knows all issues they have my eicr many issues to resolve prior to occupancy , flat had been empty since 1997 ! I don't think anyone had set foot in there since then either

It's a stupid thing but you think of it it got a code 1 (questionable but I stand by it) but it would only ever present a danger to the likes of us leccy people working and if we do our jobs properly no danger at all, proper safe isolation ext.. Don't get me wrong I'm not condoning it at all it's a stupid error and it made me walk up and down 2 flight's of stairs twice ! And who needs that !
