Do outside light require rcd protection ?

All cables are surface monuted in conduit in store room and then though the wall to outside and upto light.

as previously stated, fixed equipment outdoors does not require RCD protection except for special locations etc. however, i consider it good practice to fit RCD protection to any outside equipment that has non SWA cable as part if it's installation. e.g. flex from an adaptable box to equipment.
