What is the general opinion of having sheets of paper on the inside wall of a DB.
I work many factories where A4 sheets are sellotaped to the inside wall of a 3 phase DB.

I had a job today where I had to remove all sheets inside - copy them, laminate them and stick them on the outside of the enclosure after the H&S manager on the site identified it as a risk.

Another H&S t*t who knows it all.
Did he get you to remove the DB manufacturers' detail label too ?

Next they'll be saying that bog roll should be on the outside wall of the ****house.

Make sure you remove any labels identifying what the individual circuits are then ...... but more interestingly ask him which reg from whatever he is using calls for this. You can happily quote a reg from BS7671 which requires it and have a mature debate!

I didn't read this as a labels thing, which are stuck by the manufacturer to the door or wherever, I read it more as sheets of paper stuck with a bit of tape to any available space inside DB.

It is in my house when the kids come to visit, they just don't know when to stop. so I stand outside and pass it to them 1 sheet at a time (under the door of coarse ) If the SAS can make do with 1 sheet so can my kids:yes:

And how many times have you opened a board to find an empty wallet??!!

Or, if there is a sheet in there, it's so faded and out of date...
Absolutely agree, but the op's question was about sticking sheets of A4 with bits of tape into DB, If your going to stick it in there, stick it in the wallet, if no wallet refer to Marvo's post (11) or put it outside.
