Can you show it's legitimately obtained and you have a license for it.
If it's from BSI I think soft copies of standards have ownership details down the side of each page (well, used to!)

The inspecter might be the one that helps to put the book together.

As far as I'm aware, there is no legitimately published PDF version of BS7671.

I just checked the BSI website. It's only available as a hard copy.
The only other way to get it is by an annual digital subscription.

You will fail before your assessment even starts, mind you the way the NIC are now they probably wont care
