Who else experiences thefts/attempted thefts of their tools etc. whilst on-site? The decorators today tried twice to put my stepladders on their van - both times saying, "sorry mate - thought they were ours". Yeah, right, course you did. Last week had a almost full roll of 1.5mm T&E disappear from site. It's just not right.

glensparks you are really getting irritated with people on this site, what up buddie?>??
if i was really getting irritated Trev....i wouldn`t be able to post in here again...ever...lol...ity aint that i`m always irritated....what i dont like is some of the posts you get coming here that always start with the words `i`m an electrician`...then start to just talk complete and utter crap.....i find it insulting.....and i aint one to hold back either....now i know this doesn`t always endear me to many in here....i know i aint popular either....but i just wont watch no knowts embarrass themselvs by talking tosh without sayin summat.....and that isn`t me being a know all either.....as i consider myself to still be in the basics....i would never mete out what i wouldn`t have meted out to myself.....i`m fair like that.....

Sorry Glenn but there are honest people at times.

I had a contractor “borrow” my junior hacksaw out of my kit, I wasn’t around for him to ask. He chased me all around the site to find me and return it.
I’m glad he did return it, it’s the only saw I can use for small SWA, and it’s 40 years old now, Like me, it’s dragged out of retirement every so often.

Your views are a sad reflection of the times.

I'm surprised he managed to find a straight bit of wood in there at all - never mind in only 10 minutes !!

A lot of the stuff I've seen in there is so bent that if you threw it away it would come back to you.

Been working on a shop roof before and had to put the ladders up in the alleyway round the back. Climbed up the slanted roof, back down the other side, did what I went up to do, climbed back over the roof back to where my I had the ladders and low and behold... Gone. Thanks charva scum of Newcastle! Was up there 20 minutes before lad came back in work van for me to climb down on top of!
