A well known local firm to me consistently do PIR's on EIC's and provide them to the local authority.

code 1 are really for immediate danger and should be rectified before being used or isolated,most are code 2 as they need improved,how old is wiring, check on gumtree for electricians to do work as you will get a lot cheaper than that too, there is no legal requirement on who carries out work,The lighting circuits would recommend getting done and earth to all switches etc but you may have earth through mainframe system ie trunking, conduits etc, if im being honest i would probably recommend getting retested and if there is discrepancies in work to be done I would then contact him for money refunded and report him to governing body and trading standards
