I think he's using 25mm now Tel...20mm conduit is too small for 10mm T/E.
think i missed a page.He has bought some 25mm now Tel
IMO it is going to be extremely inconvenient having a conduit run across the top of a gate, carrying anything through the gate of any height is going to cause you problems, i.e. carrying a ladder through to clean the windows of clean out the gutters, bite the bullet now and cut chase and bury the conduit in the path.
Just noticed the size of this thread about running a bit of pvc conduit. It's already got that metal arch thing over the top of the gate to get in the way when carrying things through it, attaching a conduit to it won't make it any worse than it already is from that respect.

Is there any chance that metal arch thing was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel?

I should have look closer, but I would still bury it.

Not all the time they don'tBack entry terminal box, manufactured bends look terrible.
Make sure you put it together first, then loosen the conduits and glue back againOkay that’s what I’ve got. 20mm fixings, inspection bends and elbows. Looks like I will need some adhesive.
