thats an interesting looking piece of kit glenn , what make / type is it ?
i get all geeky over testgear lol.
some crap from chinaland...lol...
doesn`t do IR or i think low resistance (dead)....just a live testing thing....
might be ok for pat testers to `prove` the supply polarity & RCD times etc...but thats about it...

Nope, it's an American home made bit of kit. As i said, it is actually not a bad bit of test gear, can't remember all the details, it's been a long time since using one, but tests Yank GFCI's and will measure resistance/impedance during live testing. But Yes it is mainly for live testing!!
