Rangemaster Cooker Hood

I'm first fixing next week and there's a Range Master cooker hood going in but this isn't turning up until 31st May. The manufacturers installation instructions are rather sparse: http://www.rangemaster.co.uk/media/1003718/4329645-07-rangemaster-value-hoods-70-canopy-style.pdf

Anyone fitted one, or similar? How did you route the cable in? Through the back or down the false chimney?

i usually fit a FCU top of the wall cupboard and chase in to inside the flue. then a connector or wagos to the flex.

But when it comes to fitting the thing my best advice would be avoid and get the kitchen fitter to do it, fiddly as hell in my experience.

they not has bad putting them up most manufactures comes with a wall plan .

flue is an enclosure, but I'd use a wagobox as well, if only to shut you up..

No I agree Buzz not that bad really but I had one where there was a low ceiling and to get the minimum height from the hob just one of the 2 chimney sections was too long, so that had to be cut down with a jigsaw with metal blade, then it had to be jiggled into place with the main hood loose as no adjustment and this particular one was about 1200mm wide.
