Hi guys,

I admit this is just me being to lazy to go to the van and get my regs book.

The reg about not using an rcd as a main switch, does it specify a ma rating or anything about time delayed or TT system exemptions?

I ask as i was planning to replace a main switch with a 100ma type s rcd (TT system) but that reg just popped into my head. Space is limited so i would rather not have a seperate enclosure if it can be helped.

I cant see any difference in having it in the cu or in its own enclosure other than the RCD switch isnt big and red like a main switch.

Cheers,
Tim
