Awesome thread lol !

I'd give it up sailor48 , spinlondon has well and truly torpedoed your forum boat. ;-)
and trying to make it personal makes you look daft.

Gotta love spin , his interpretations of bs 7671 are the without doubt the most accurate on this forum.

I often sit on my laptop at night with my ear plugs in so I cannot here the wife telly or kids, the noise is deafening in here at times, the lap top allows me troll my 2 sites, play chess with friends from around the world and watch threads like this with bigger trolls than me lol

Oh don’t neglect the kids I spent many hours with My two boys tucked up in a cosy cabin half way across the Atlantic studying BS7671, when we got to the windies they could recite it chapter and verse (Little clue there for those in the know)
Trouble is one became a doctor the other a race car driver, but what the hell they have wasted there lives but it was there’s to waste.
When I think they could have been scratching about in a loft and living in a council house, are well what you going to do kids eh who’d have them.

Are a Northern Monkey
Yes all true but he has to live in slummy East London my heart goes out to him and to you.

Ops just fell off my chair, my carer has just said switch of that computer and drink your Ovaltine (Other bed time drinks are available )
Or he’s going to send me on the care pathway.

I would rather live in a box on Guernsey, that a mansion in London.
Was about to say "well I wouldn't!" but on second thoughts I'm not sure. Mansion would be nice, as would rail links to everywhere, but our coast, cliffs, and countryside are lovely, not to mention no VAT, and our rates being a fraction of the uk's council tax. Still a pain in the arse having to spend over ÂŁ200 and stay overnight to just get to Gatwick to go anywhere decent, and having far too many people here. Our population density is close to that of London. 5th Highest country in Europe, apparently. :(

Correct, we do not have VAT, not being part of the EU. I'm surprised you didn't have to pay VAT on your Harley parts, as they would be an import and HMRC should have stung you for it. I suspect you 'got away with it' if it was a while ago, but now HM Customs are clamping down on such things, and have abolished Low Value Consignment Relief which let us export low value stuff to UK VAT free.

Oh I forgot to mention no Part Pee nonsense and all the reporting changing a lamp-bulb to LABC, having to get CU changes blessed by the pope etc etc. :)

So is the correct answer to the OP 'NO' as long as the outlets are to be used by skilled or instructed opperatives?

And it is the responsibility of the client to make sure that all opperatives are trained or supervised sufficiently?

Very funny thread btw............

its irrelevant now anyway as i was massively undercut. someone working for nuts...

so the only use of this thread now is the lads bashing the sailor

Not sure what's going on in this thread but everyone knows T&E and a CEF homebrand dual rcd board is by far the best protection. Lady was over the moon after I ripped out her old dangerous installation for that (cable was obviously dangerous, full of powder with exposed copper on the outside, lethal!)

Thank you RCDs!

Oh no they didn’t, you little Makee Makee, judging by your posts you couldn’t do the quote, so you told the man that you were too busy.
You have been warned before by others not to make stuff up

Obviously you have all got bored with each other, so you have come back to this one
Have any of you been out today? No? Try again tomorrow (one step at a time)
One bloke on here as been on here for 14hrs Its no good quoting regs if you have no work
