Got to put a quote in for re wire on a 11 bedroom hotel. Anyway what is the differnece with the regs on hotels, does it all have to be rcd protected, where do the emergency lights have to go , any dos and donts all help appreciated thanks.

If I was the op I would be getting in touch with his labc and ask if they have any special local spec for hotels? eg, rcd's/rcbo's due to general public using sockets. Using lsf instead pvc as they may see it as a safer option. As for the EM lights? Get some one else in to design it if you are not aware of the design process. Theres a lot more to it than just stickng up a NM EM light above a door or stairwell. Good luck.

Found this edition on Ebay....

Seriously?

The whole point is it's a site FOR RESPECTABLE ELECTRICIANS (and serious trainees)

No self respecting sparks I know would be asking a question as ludicrous as "how do I wire a hotel" or state things like "I don't have a copy of the regs"!

his initial question was not "how do I rewire a hotel" please have a look before you comment as you will find you are wrong there is no need to ridicule people on this site
