if you cant chamber a firearm correctly without being "taught" then you have no place holding it!
Wot about how you load the thing in the first place?
false equivalencePresumably at some point in your life, you've had some experience? Like if I gave you a voltage tester, you would know how to use it. Give the same device to a someone in a diy store, they would not have a scooby.
Can you do the same with Electricians would be interesting to see the stats, entry exam is zero by all accounts ;o))))A 2012 report into police corruption in England and Wales by the IPCC noted the prevalence of the serious offences referred to them from 2008 to 2011; perverting the course of justice (33%), theft or fraud (30%), abuse of authority (15%), unauthorised disclosure of information (13%), and misuse of systems (9%).[212] The IPCC received 837 referrals during this period, mostly from UK citizens.[212] 47 cases were referred for prosecution, resulting in ten prison sentences, one suspended sentence and one fine.[212] As a result of all investigations into the corruption and misconduct of UK police and staff between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2014, 134 police officers and staff were dismissed, while a further 711 faced disciplinary sanctions.[210] 103 Metropolitan Police officers were also suspended during this period.[213] Offences included drug related offences, bribery, theft or fraud, sexual misconduct, and information disclosure, where information disclosure and theft or fraud were the most common offences.[210][213] The Directorate of Professional standards considers the "exploitation of staff through inappropriate relationships with journalists, private investigators and criminals" the biggest threat to police integrity.[213]
how many london gunman "yutes" have had firearms training? they seem plenty capable of loading up a whole variety of firearms all by themselves

what makes those police officers more moral? But we are not on about 'yutes', we are talking of training police officers, to be deployed with firearms. You've already given arguments about poor standards within the police service, you can't have you argument both ways.
Incorrect loading & unloading procedures can cause incident and injuries.

what makes those police officers more moral?
you seem to think police officers have some moral authority over everyone else, how do they obtain it? is it the uniform? are they all 100% good people?

if one incident at dunblane can get handguns banned for the other 99% of gun owners that are good people then the 1% of bad police should = no guns for bobbies on the beat regardless of their character
arming the police will only arm more criminals
and what about that brazilian chap that got 5 pieces of lead tapped into his head for wearing a backpack on the london underground? copper probably got 2 weeks suspension and back to usual
lets arm security guards at asda whilst were at it, low tier police officers dont even get trusted with tazers, because its human nature for idiots to abuse authority
