It's such a huge organisation with a massive turnover (as it were!), there's always going to be some bad experiences for some, which the circling media vultures are always ready to pick on.
I can only go on our experiences here in Manc, which have been excellent, a few minor hiccups; but name me one organisation in the world that has a 100% perfection record, can't think of one myself.
And the best bit, it's essentially free!

GPs on the other hand, are a different can of worms altogether. Should add them onto Geordie's list!!!

Well I can only go on my experience too, which culminated in a legal battle and court case years ago which was well before the blame/sue culture. I have been left with little faith somewhat.

or its summat about outbuildings...
