I feel like a dope for asking but can someone tell me if a 25 amp 4 pole schneider multi 9 contactor is rated at 25 amps per pole or 25 amps in total? Ive been having a look at the schneider characteristics page and still wasnt sure

4 + 12 = 16 years in the trade and still doesn’t know how to read a specification sheet?
Smacks of a Electrical Trainee to me.

It doesn't state what I was asking on the spec sheet. Like I already said I knew what the answer was I just had a bit of a niggling doubt so I thought I would ask. I don't see why you feel the need to try and belittle me for asking a question (even if it was a stupid one) you don't know me, you don't know what levels of experience I have or which type of work I mainly do so if you've nothing constructive or helpful to say then why bother saying anything to me? I don't post often as I know what happens when people do, most members try to be helpful but some go out of their way to put people down for daring not to know something that they do. I certainly wont be asking anything again
