Personally I don't think any politician tells whole truths.
Salmond I think is a dangerous little man who was obviously bullied by an Englishman at some point during his childhood, as he seems to have a major problem with us & anything English/British.
Is he the Scottish version of Farage?
What would I have voted, probably No & not for any other reason other than "better the devil you know" & the possibility that Scotland will be handed what is near as dam it self-rule called devo max.
If they vote yes will anything change? Just thinking........
- No funding from Westminster for the health service over the boarder (the Government missed a trick over the past few years, should have renamed it BNHS, British National Health Service).
- Will Scots be charged for treatment south of the boarder on the NHS, they will after all be foreigners.
- No Police funding from London.
- No funding for a military force.
- Submarine & naval nukes need moving south along with everything that comes with them.
- Naval shipbuilding should come back to Portsmouth (Naval craft cant be built by a foreign power).
- Could be problems & price increases with Mobile phone networks (if they vote yes in theory Scotland will not have any licencing for such networks.
- How will Unions go on?
- Consumer goods will go up in price, after all they will be imported across a border so I assume there will be an import tax?
All a very big mess in the making.
