Confused again. The AA warranty, is that still current, or is that the one that is or was outside the warranty period?

Outside of the 6 month warranty from dealership

Still got an active warranty policy with AA but they won't cover the engine/turbo repairs because carbon from the dpf was part of the cause. It's true carbon was part of the problem but it is due to a known fault with this particular Mazda CX-5. There is no way we could have prevented this from happening

I know you've been to CAB, but with a 4k bill, I would consider going to a solicitor for an initial consultation. Consultation with your MP, and the Daily Mail have a columnist who does a weekly blog on money matters.

I agree, don't be fobbed off . some bad press may get you results . They don't like it up em Mr M...
