Tails into metal switch fuse

I've got a job where I'm running a Swa sub main to a 17th edition board. I've got to put a switchfuse by the meter and I'm intending to run tails from the meter into it.

Previously I've put a male bush and locknut in the bottom and run the tails into that but I'm after other ideas that give strain relief.

I've seen the wiska tails stuffing gland but it's expensive at about 20 quid a pop

Any other ideas ? Suggestions

Specialist glands always come with a premium price tag. Stick with bush and locknut (either Brass or Plastic) and support the tails externally with appropriately sized clip or clips....

Yes I think I'll do that that will probably be the way most people go it when the new amendment comes into force. Unless that is the price of the glands come down a lot or the manufactures include them with there metal consumer units

The new metal Hager boards either come with or have an option for a tails support clamp within the CU mounted just above the main isolator switch...

Buy they do provide the correct IP rating.

I use 40mm and 50mm stuffing glands, always done the job look neat and secure the cables stopping termination movement; They are pretty cheap too..a few quid if that.

These make 40mm stuffers and also have changeable inserts depending on tails, flat twin, etc

20mm glands for the line and neutral separately but slot between their holes?

Too much over thinking going on here, were talking about getting the tails into a metal switch fuse in a domestic set-up. A male bush and locknut or a male and female bush, entry at the bottom of the switch fuse be they brass or plastic will do the job. Sod paying 20 odd quid for a gland with a special insert to accommodate 2 tails and a main earth conductor, End Of!!

Those that fancy using a normal stuffing gland that can accommodate the above is fine as well....
