My college course required me to do this. Any thoughts?

Take one, the armour of the SWA should be connected to the CU earth bar via the banjo supplied in the gland kit, a length of GY, a brass nut & bolt and a ring crimp.
All the cables do have earths onto the earth bar.

Yes it is, i have just done the same exercise and the college said not to worry about fly leads.
I'm not from Alabamy but I've had a banjo on me knee lots of times. I really want to buy one but since I already have 7 guitars I think the powers that be might objectAlso do not put a banjo on your knee unless you come from Alabama.
Careful with that protective bond coming out of the top, CU top surface must meet IP4X (1mm object will not penetrate), other sides it's only IP2X.
